Christina Zeyen
Christina Zeyen (born October 2, 1975 in Bochum ) is a former German basketball player .
career
Zeyen played for VfL Bochum , with whom she was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga in 1993 and then played in the top division for VfL. In the 1996/97 game year, Zeyen was represented with Bochum in the European club competition Ronchetti Cup and with average values of 9.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per match, a pillar of the Bochum game. Her next stop was BTV Wuppertal , with which she won the German championship title twice. She also competed in the Euroleague with Wuppertal . The 1.88 meter indoor player played after her time in Wuppertal, which lasted until 2000, at ODB Recklinghausen and then at BG Dorsten . She also played with Dorsten on the international stage, in the FIBA Europe Cup .
Zeyen made 49 international appearances for Germany between December 1995 and May 2001. She took part in the European Championships in Poland in 1999 , but came only to one use during the tournament.
Professionally, Zeyen worked as a lawyer.
