Christine Biernath
Christine Biernath (born March 4, 1961 in Weilheim an der Teck ) is a German author of children's books .
Life
Christine Biernath grew up in Nuremberg . The older of two sisters wanted to become a writer as a child, but after graduating from high school in 1980 she first trained as a foreign language correspondent. She worked for eight years in the export business of various Nuremberg companies. Only after the birth of her son did she set about realizing her childhood dream.
Her first book for young people, Inside Looks Different, was published by Gabriel in 2005 by Thienemann Verlag and was nominated for the 2006 Buxtehuder Bullen . With life on the back burner , she came on the nomination list for the Heinrich Wolgast Prize 2011.
