Christine Mayr
Christine Mayr (born August 14, 1956 in Bozen ) is a South Tyrolean lawyer and politician.
biography
Mayr completed a law degree at the Universities of Florence and Munich , which she completed in Florence in 1980. As a result, she started working as a lawyer in Bolzano. Professionally, she is particularly committed to women's rights, families and young people. In 1991 Mayr became chairwoman of the women's movement within the South Tyrolean People's Party (SVP), and in the same year the party's vice chairwoman. From 1993 to 1998 she held a mandate in the South Tyrolean state parliament and thus also in the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol .
