Christine Schneider (born January 14, 1990 in Heidelberg ) is a German soccer player who is under contract with Bundesliga club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim .
Career
Schneider started her football career at VfB Schönau in 1920 . This was followed by a stopover at DJK / FC Ziegelhausen-Peterstal , before moving to the B-youth team of FC Mühlhausen / VfB St. Leon in 2006 , whose teams were taken over by TSG 1899 Hoffenheim for the 2007/08 season. With the first women's team in Hoffenheim, she was promoted within three seasons from the Verbandsliga Baden (2007/08) to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg (2008/09) and the Regionalliga Süd (2009/10) in the 2nd Bundesliga South . After the 2012/13 second division championship she was promoted to the Bundesliga for three years, where she made her debut against VfL Sindelfingen on September 8, 2013 (1st matchday) . She scored her first Bundesliga goal on October 13, 2013 (5th matchday) in the 1: 4 away defeat at VfL Wolfsburg .
