The Turtmänna is an approximately 18 km long left tributary of the Rhone in the Swiss canton of Valais . It flows through the Turtmann valley and drains an area of ​​113 square kilometers.

The Turtmänna rises at the Turtmann glacier below the Bishorns in the municipality of Oberems VS . Shortly afterwards, it forms the municipal boundary between Oberems and Turtmann-Unterems . It flows through the Turtmannsee and another reservoir and flows in a northerly direction through the Turtmann valley. From Gruben it forms the border between Oberems and Ergisch , only to flow into the Rhone a little later at Turtmann in the municipality of Turtmann-Unterems.
