Christine Stienemeier

Christine Stienemeier (born March 22, 1971 in Bonn ) is a German actress .

She grew up in Lippstadt . After graduating from high school, Stienemeier began studying German and biology in Göttingen with the aim of becoming a marine biologist . However, she soon discovered her fondness for acting, whereupon she completed a one-year internship at the Piccolo Theater in Cologne .

Career

Following this training, she received several theater and television roles. From 1998 to 2000 she belonged to the ensemble of the Landestheater Detmold , where she appeared in various classical roles, a. a. as Marian in Tartuffe , Ingrid in Peer Gynt and Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew . Afterwards she had engagements with the Schauspielcompagnie Düsseldorf (2003), in theater taktil, Ruhrlandmuseum Essen (2005) and in a.tonal.theater, Cologne (2000 to 2005).

Stienemeier became known nationwide through her participation in the WDR series " Lindenstrasse " in which she embodied the character of "Maja Starck" from 1999 to 2004 (episode 684–982). In March 2020 she had a guest appearance in the episode 1754 (The ghosts who called Helga).
