Christl Greller (born December 18, 1940 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer .

Life

Christl Greller was born in Vienna, where she mostly lives. After graduating from high school and advertising academy, she wrote for many years as a conceptualist and copywriter for the international advertising industry until she turned to literary writing in 1995.

Wolfgang Bauer praised her work as follows: “In her fine, unpretentious writing, much of what characterizes literature plays at the same time: the story in the non-story, the thriller suspense in the observation (...), the apparently targeted plot, which Surprisingly dissolves into nothing and thus becomes an art plot, psychological perfection that is compatible with abstract aesthetics. ”(“ Querlandein ”, Residenz Verlag 1995, ISBN 3-7017-0940-8 , 7 ff).

Through her future husband, Christl Greller came to Burgenland, where she was also able to establish herself in the literary scene. Christl Greller is a member of the Austrian Writers 'Association, the Graz Authors' Assembly, the Podium Literature Circle, the Lower Austria Cultural Network and a board member of the IG Authors.

Literary subjects

Christl Greller focuses in her writing on the areas of poetry and prose. In her work she addresses the fate, fear and homelessness of people.
