The Christmas Point is a striking, east-west oriented headland off the coast of the East Antarctic Enderbylands . It protrudes from the southern edge of the Hydrographer Islands into Khmara Bay .
The three Australian geologists Michael A. Sandiford, Christopher J. L. Wilson and Edward S. Grew spent Christmas Day 1979 here and named the headland in memory of this event.
