Christo Etropolski ( Bulgarian Христо Етрополски ; born March 18, 1959 in Sofia ) is a former Bulgarian saber fencer .
successes
Christo Etropolski won the bronze medal at the individual world championships in Vienna in 1983 . In 1985 he became vice world champion in both individual and team competitions in Barcelona . In the team competition, bronze followed in 1986 in Sofia and silver again in 1987 in Lausanne . He took part in the Olympic Games twice: in 1980 in Moscow he missed the medal ranks with fifth place in the individual. He finished eighth with the Bulgarian team. At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 he reached 21st place in the individual and again eighth place with the team.
His twin brother, Wassil Etropolski, was also a fencer.
