Christof Bäumler

Christof Bäumler (born March 13, 1927 in Bad Kissingen ; † February 7, 1996 in Munich ) was a German Protestant theologian .

Life

Bäumler taught religion at the Oberrealschule Kempten from 1953 and became a pastor in St. Matthäus (Munich) in 1958 . From 1961 to 1976 he headed the study center for Protestant youth work in Josefstal . In 1968 he was one of the founding members of the Evangelical Renewal Working Group (AEE).

After graduating as Dr. theol. in Tübingen on July 10, 1959, he taught as a professor of practical theology (1970–1995) in Munich .
