Christof Mascher

Christof Mascher (born July 2, 1960 in Lienz , Austria ) is a member of the Board of Management and Chief Operating Officer of Allianz SE .

Education and professional career

Mascher studied philosophy at the University of Vienna and law at the University of Innsbruck .

Mascher began his professional career in 1989 at the Wiener Allianz in the field of industrial insurance. In 1993 he became head of the company organization until he became head of information technology in 1994. In 2000 Mascher was appointed to the Board of Management of Allianz Elementar , where he was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Mascher moved to Allianz Deutschland AG in 2006, where he was Chief Operating Officer on the Executive Board.

In September 2009 he was appointed to the Board of Management of Allianz SE and is Chief Operating Officer.
