Christoph Büchel

Christoph Büchel (born September 11, 1966 in Basel ) is a Swiss artist and action artist.

life and work

Since the 1990s, he has been particularly interested in spatial installations and conceptual art .

In September 2008, Christoph Büchel's exhibition Deutsche Grammatik began in the Kunsthalle Fridericianum in Kassel .

Another exhibition was the venue for the politica , the “first trade fair for political parties in Germany”. The participation of the NPD caused the calculated scandal, "with a lot of noise". The artistic director of the Fridericianum, Rein Wolfs, spoke of a " performance " in connection with the politica weekend .
