Christoph Groh
Christoph Groh (born July 5, 1924 in Vienna ) is an Austrian neuropediatrist and epileptologist .
life and work
After studying medicine in Innsbruck and Vienna (doctorate in 1949), Groh completed his specialist training at the Mautner Markhof Children's Hospital and at the University Children's Clinic in Vienna . In 1976 he completed his habilitation, and in 1988 he was appointed associate professor.
From 1987 to 1990 Groh was supplier (provisional; ad interim) director of the University Children's Clinic in Vienna.
His scientific focus was child psychiatry and epileptology . He was (co-) author of numerous articles in professional journals and book chapters.
Award
- 1985: Corresponding member of the German section of the International League Against Epilepsy (since 2004: German Society for Epileptology )
