Christoph Haimburger (born October 4, 1991 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian floorball player . He currently plays floorball for the KAC .
Career
Club career
Christoph Haimburger began his career at KAC Floorball , where he played in the youth team until 2009. In 2009 he made his debut in the combat team and was able to convince there straight away. In his first four years he was able to score 63 goals and prepare 21 more. From the 2012/13 season he wore the captain's ribbon a few times. As a result, he was called up for the 2012 national team for World Cup qualification.
After a year break due to his studies in Graz , he finally moved to IC Graz in the 2nd Bundesliga, where he was immediately considered a service provider. He also became a captain. After his second season, he celebrated his comeback in the national team in 2015.
In June 2016, the KAC Floorball announced that Haimburger would play it again from the coming season. He celebrated his comeback in July 2016 at an international tournament in Amsterdam .
National team
In 2012 Haimburger made his debut in the Austrian national team as part of the World Cup qualification against Hungary . The game was lost with 1: 9. After three years of abstinence, he was recalled to the national team for test matches in 2015.
