Christoph Holowaty (* 1965 ) is editor-in-chief of the German portal GamesIndustry.biz , currently the largest business portal in the computer and video games industry with 50,000 registered users worldwide. The business graduate started in 1993 in the computer and video game industry at the video game manufacturer Konami in the marketing department and moved to Computec Media at the end of 1994 . There he founded and directed the trade magazine MCV (market for computer and video games). In mid-2004 he became co-editor-in-chief of the specialist magazine PC Games alongside Petra Fröhlich . Christoph Holowaty has been chief reporter for all Computec magazines since 2005.

GamesIndustry.biz Germany took over Holowaty in March 2010.

In the computer game Jagged Alliance 2: Wildfire , published in 2005, he portrays Henning von Branitz, a mercenary.
