Christoph Jacobs
Christoph Jacobs (* 1958 in Cologne ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .
Life
He studied philosophy and theology in Paderborn and Freiburg in Üechtland . After ordination in 1985, he was vicar in Meschede for 3 years . He completed his studies (1988–1993) in psychology at the University of Friborg with a licentiate in clinical psychology . Since 1994 he has been teaching psychology at the Catholic University of Paderborn . Since 1995 he has been teaching pastoral theology and pastoral psychology at the Paderborn seminary . After receiving his doctorate in pastoral theology / pastoral psychology in Passau in 1998, he headed the priest training in the Archdiocese of Paderborn from 1998 to 2008 . Since 1998 he has been a pastor in the Borchen pastoral network . From 1999 to 2015 he had a teaching position for psychology in the course for Caritas Studies and Christian Social Studies at the Theological Faculty in Passau. Since 1999 he has been teaching psychology at the PTH Münster . Since 2008 he has been teaching as professor for pastoral psychology and pastoral sociology at the Theological Faculty in Paderborn . Since 2010 he has been teaching psychology at the theological faculty in Fulda .
