Christoph Lechner

Christoph Lechner (born May 14, 1966 in Vienna ) is an Austrian musician , composer and Wienerlied interpreter.

Life

Christoph Lechner started playing the counter guitar in his youth . From 1993 he was part of the Stadtbahn quartet, which played contemporary interpretations of Viennese songs up to and including English rock and blues .

With accordion partners such as Tomy Hojsa , Roland Sulzer , Herbert Bäuml , Walther Sojka and Rainer Sokal , he appears at Heurigen and at the major Viennese song festivals Schrammelklang , Wean hean and Rosenstolz .

In 2012 his first CD was released, "I am a Hernalser Bua", on which he set texts by Gerhard Blaboll to music.
