Christoph Peschek (born October 30, 1983 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football functionary, former politician ( SPÖ ) and former member of the Vienna State Parliament and member of the Vienna City Council .

Life

Peschek attended the AHS Polgarstraße and then completed the ÖGB training in labor and social law. From 2001 he was youth secretary of the union of private employees, printing, journalism, paper (GPA-djp) for Vienna.

Peschek was already politically active in his school days, was the head of the AHS Polgarstrasse and from 2000 to 2001 a member of the AHS regional student council in Vienna. Since 2007 he has been the youth chairman of the parliamentary group of Social Democratic Unionists (FSG) - Vienna. From 2009 to 2010 Peschek was district councilor and youth representative for the 22nd district of Vienna . In the Vienna municipal council elections in 2010 he was elected to the state parliament and municipal council and has since acted as apprentice spokesman for the Vienna SPÖ .

From November 18, 2013, Peschek was Vice President of SK Rapid Vienna .

In November 2014, he resigned from his political functions as well as his office as honorary vice-president of Rapid in order to be full-time business manager of SK Rapid from February 1, 2015.
