Christoph von Wolzüge

Christoph von Wolzüge (born August 25, 1948 in Büdingen , actually Hans-Christoph Freiherr von Wolhaben and Neuhaus ) is a German philosopher .

Christoph von Wolhaben comes from an originally Lower Austrian family from the imperial baron class. After studying philosophy, he did his doctorate and finally completed his habilitation in Karlsruhe with a thesis on Martin Heidegger . Wolzog has been a private lecturer since the 2002 winter semester and an adjunct professor at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main since 2005 . He also wrote reviews for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung , Die Welt and the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, among others . He gained renown in professional circles primarily through his work on the French philosopher Emmanuel Levinas . His fields of work also include A. Theories of relation and neo-Kantianism .
