Christophe Béchu
Christophe Béchu (born June 11, 1974 in Angers , Maine-et-Loire ) is a French politician of the Les Républicains party .
Life
Béchu studied law at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris in Paris and has been President of the General Council of the Maine-et-Loire Department since 2004 . In 2009 he was elected as a member of the European Parliament , of which he was a member until 2011. Since October 2011 he has been a Senator for the Maine-et-Loire department in the Senate . Béchu is married and has three children.
