Christopher Campbell Eberts

Christopher Campbell Eberts (born May 5, 1913 in Montreal , † 1975 ) was a Canadian ambassador .

Life

Christopher Campbell Eberts was the son of Beatrice Muriel Howard and Edmond Urquhart Melchior Eberts.

In 1941 he was second-class delegation secretary in Mexico City .

On September 1, 1941, he was appointed consul on Saint-Pierre and Miquelon .

From April 28, 1953 to June 16, 1960 he had exequatur as consul general in San Francisco .

On October 20, 1960 he was appointed High Commissioner (Commonwealth) in Karachi , where he was appointed from 1961 to February 23, 1963.

From April to October 1963 and from February to May 1964 he was Assistant Under-secretary in the Canadian Department of State.

In 1967 he was Chef de Protocoll. On July 26, 1967, he was appointed ambassador to Tehran , where he was stationed until December 20, 1971. On July 26, 1967, he was appointed ambassador to Baghdad , where he was accredited from June 27, 1968 to February 11, 1972. On July 26, 1967, he was appointed Ambassador to Kuwait City , where he was accredited from March 31, 1968 to September 20, 1971. He was retired on February 11, 1972 .
