Christopher Cheboiboch (born March 3, 1977 ) is a former Kenyan long-distance runner who specialized in the marathon .
Career
In 2002 he ran 2:09:05 hours in the Boston Marathon and 2:08:17 hours in the New York City Marathon and finished second behind Rodgers Rop in both races .
In 2003, he finished fifth in Boston and third in New York City.
At the Leipzig Marathon 2004, the then 27-year-old set a course record with 2:10:16 hours. In 2005 he won the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in 2:09:17 h.
