Christopher Mlalazi

Christopher Mlalazi (born 1970 in Bulawayo ) is a Zimbabwean writer.

Life

Christopher Mlalazi writes short stories, novels and plays. He has received several literary prizes and grants. In 2010 he was a “Feuchtwanger Fellow” at Villa Aurora in Los Angeles , and in 2011 he was a fellow at the Nordiska Africa Institute in Uppsala . In 2012/13 he was a participant in the International Writing Program in Iowa City . Mlalazi was a “Hannah Arendt scholarship holder” in Hanover in 2013 and worked on his third novel They are coming .
