Christopher FE Pare

Christopher FE Pare (born May 1, 1959 in London ) is a British prehistorian .

Life

From 1977 to 1982 he studied prehistoric archeology at the University of Edinburgh . From 1982 to 1987 he obtained the DPhil (1988) at Oxford University . From 1987 to 1994 he was a research assistant at the Roman-Germanic Central Museum in Mainz . From 1994 to 2002 he was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Birmingham , Department of Ancient History and Archeology . From 1998 to 1999 he had a research grant from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at the Roman-Germanic Central Museum in Mainz . Since 2002 he has taught at the Institute for Prehistory and Protohistory at the University of Mainz as a professor .

His research interests are bronze and iron age archeology of central and southern Europe.
