Chrysoclista abchasica is a butterfly ( moth ) fromthe grass leaf miner family (Elachistidae).

features

The moths reach a wingspan of 9 millimeters. They differ from the very similar species Chrysoclista linneella by the more irregular, dark border of the forewings and the narrow, silvery costal line between the forewing base and the silvery costal spot.

In the males, the gnathos arms are short, broad and strongly toothed. The valves are widened distally and have a rounded apex. The anellus lobes are half as long as the valves. They have a pointed apex and subapical teeth. The aedeagus is strongly curved and provided with a series of cornuti. C. abchasica can be distinguished from Chrysoclista zagulajevi by the different shape of the valves and the anellus lobes.

The female genital fittings have not yet been described.

Chrysoclista abchasica occurs in Georgia in the autonomous republic of Abkhazia ( Transcaucasia ).
