Chrysothemis (wife of Staphylos)
Chrysothemis ( Greek Χρυσόθεμις ) is the wife of Staphylos in Greek mythology .
In Diodorus she is the mother of the Parthenos , Molpadia and Rhoio and the grandmother of Anios , whom her daughter Rhoio fathered with the god Apollon . In Hyginus Mythographus , she is Apollon's mother of the Parthenos, who dies in childhood. Apollo then places her daughter under the stars as Parthenus .
