Chuck Traynor

Charles "Chuck" Everett Traynor (born August 21, 1937 - July 22, 2002 in Chatsworth , California ) was an American entrepreneur in the pornography industry . Traynor was one of the minor characters of the early porn film industry in the United States in the 1970s. Among other things, he was involved in the production of the world-famous porn film Deep Throat as a production manager .

Life

Traynor was married to well-known porn actresses from the "Golden Age of Porn" including Linda Lovelace from 1971 to 1974, the leading actress in Deep Throat , and from 1975 to 1985 to Marilyn Chambers , the leading actress in Behind the Green Doors . He met Lovelace through a friend when he was working as a bar operator in Miami.

Linda Lovelace accused Traynor in her autobiography Ordeal , among other things , that he had abused her as a sex slave for his own greed for profit and had forced her to work in the porn film industry. He is also reported to have admitted that she was raped multiple times. For his part, Traynor took pride in his role in the porn industry and his contribution to creating the character Linda Lovelace.

Chuck Traynor died on July 22, 2002 in Chatsworth, California, of a heart attack.
