Cibões is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Cibões belongs to the Terras de Bouro county in the Braga district . The community had an area of ​​17.5 km² and 367 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Cibões and Brufe merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Cibões e Brufe . Cibões is the seat of this newly formed community.
