Brufe is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Brufe belongs to the Terras de Bouro district in the Braga district . The community had an area of ​​6.5 km² and 50 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Brufe and Cibões were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Cibões e Brufe .
