Cicinho (actually Cícero João de Cezare , born June 24, 1980 in Pradópolis near São Paulo ) is a former Brazilian soccer player . He played in the position of the right winger, acts with a focus on combat and skillfully used his offensive strength.

Career

Cicinho started his professional career at Atlético Mineiro in 2001 and moved to Botafogo FR for a year in 2002 , only to return to Atlético Mineiro in 2003. From 2004 he played for São Paulo FC , with whom he won the Copa Libertadores in 2005.

Real Madrid signed the international in December 2005, immediately after he won the 2005 FIFA Club World Cup with São Paulo FC . In August, the club from the Spanish capital had already secured the purchase rights to the player. The 25-year-old had a contract with São Paulo until 2008, for the premature termination of which a transfer fee of the equivalent of 9.8 million euros was fixed. At Real he was used both in defense and in midfield .

After he celebrated winning the Spanish championship with the Merengues in 2007, it went for him in the Serie A . The AS Roma could sign him after tough negotiations for nine million euros after the Italian capital club over a year on it was my turn. In the Brazilian national soccer team , he is used in the right full-back position. He made his debut for the Seleção on April 27, 2005 in the friendly against Guatemala, in the same year he won the Confederations Cup in 2005 with her . In 2006 he took part in the soccer world championship . His last international match was against Wales on September 5, 2006.
