Cihan Özkaymak (born July 4, 1989 in Osmangazi , Bursa Province ) is a Turkish football player who was under contract with Denizlispor from 2013 to 2019 .

Career

Özkaymak was born in Osmangazi , a district in the Bursa Province , and started playing football at Bursaspor at the age of eleven . From then on he went through all youth teams and got his first professional contract with Bursaspor when he came of age.

In order to collect match practice with the men, he was loaned to the fourth division Oyak Renault SK (now Yeşil Bursa SK ) for two years . Here he was a regular player in midfield and barely missed a game. Since he was satisfied with his role at this club, he expressed his employer Bursaspor's wish to continue playing for Oyak Renault SK. He agreed, so that Özkaymak and the transfer fee switched to Oyak Renault SK.

After two more seasons he signed a league higher with the third division Alanyaspor . Except for the first matchday, he was always used in the 2012/13 season and scored nine goals in 31 games.

He then moved to Denizlispor in the TFF 1st Lig in the 2013/14 season . Özkaymak has become a crowd-pleaser over the years, even if he often had short or no appearances in the league (including due to serious injuries). In five and a half years he scored nine goals in 94 championship games.
