Milton Swantes
Milton Schwantes (born April 26, 1946 in the municipality of Carazinho ; † March 1, 2012 in São Paulo ) was a Brazilian Protestant theologian and biblical scholar .
Act
Schwantes taught mainly at the Lutheran Theological College in São Leopoldo and the Methodist Theological Faculty in São Bernardo do Campo . He became known far beyond the borders of his academic workplaces through specialist lectures and publications as well as scientific projects.
Awards
- 2002: Honorary doctorate from the Philipps University of Marburg
- 2007: Honorary doctorate from the Catholic Theological Institute of São Paulo
