Cilli Juergensen

Cilli Jürgensen , also Cilly Jürgensen , née Johanna Cäcilie Barteldes (born November 30, 1866 in Dresden , † April 20, 1940 in Kassel ) was a German theater actress and singer ( mezzo-soprano ).

Life

Jürgensen, the daughter of a businessman, decided in 1885 to take up the acting profession. She took lessons from Carl Löber and stepped onto the stage in Zwickau for the first time, then she was engaged as an actress and singer in Görlitz, at the Hoftheater in Stuttgart (1890 to 1891), at the Adolf Ernst Theater in Berlin (1891 to 1892) In 1893 she joined the association of the royal stage in Kassel for the subject of soubrettes and comical old people, where she worked until at least 1907.

Her further life is unknown; her first name is also reproduced as Cilly .

She was married to the actor Adolf Juergensen .
