Cilli Willeke

Cilli Willeke (* 1929 in Bous ) is a German painter .

Life

In the 1940s, Cilli Willeke took up private studies with the painter Jakob Schug and from 1946 worked in the art and craft studio Weiland in Bous. From 1948 to 1949 she worked as a ceramic painter at Villeroy & Boch Mettlach. In 1949 she married the painter Günther Willeke, with whom she had three children. Since 1973 she has been a member of the Untere Saar, Saarlouis artist group , of which she was chairman from 1989 to 1990. In 1976 she designed a ceramic wall in the Koblenz Lützel parish center. In 1987 she was a founding member of the Kunstverein - Cercle artistique international "LIMES".
