Cinema Strikes Back is a German public film and series channel on YouTube . He belongs to the media group funk which are offered by ARD and ZDF .
Production company
The public online film channel Cinema Strikes Back is produced for Funk by four permanent employees of the Cologne-based company Schattenwolf GmbH , which was founded in December 2017 . The moderation team includes a. the film and media scholar Alper Turfan (artistic director, editing and moderation), the journalist Marius Stolz (formerly at Die Filmfabrik) and the Echo award winner in the “Best Video” category Jonas Ressel.
Previously, the founders Turfan, Stolz and Ressel took over the YouTube channel DieFilmfabrik from entertainer Dominik Porschen for Mediakraft Networks from 2015 , as the latter withdrew to a smaller channel with Deutsche Telekom as a sponsor. Now and then he can be seen at the film factory since Turfan, Stolz and Ressel gave up the canal.
