Band history

Cinnamon was founded in 1994 by songwriters Jiri Novak and Frida haben. The duo was soon joined by Samuel Laxberg and Christian Ekwall, followed by Per Linden later. In 1995 they signed with Soap Records and made their debut with the EP Vox . The debut album Summer Meditation followed in the same year . The following album The Courier from 1997 was accompanied by a tour through Europe and the USA. The EP Many Moods was released in June 1999, followed in October by the long player Vertigo , which was also released by Apricot Records . The album was mixed by well-known producer Bertrand Burgalat and was a huge success. In 2000, the band went on tour again and brought out an EP on Labrador Records with two releases from Vertigo and three new songs. There have been no further publications by the group since then.
