Connecting routes within the circuit allow alternative courses for individual events. The control tower at the main stand, which can seat around 1,500 spectators, also includes a control center with timekeeping. A restaurant with 130 seats is located under the grandstand.

In the eastern area of the main route there is a separate, 1,200 meter long and approximately 5 meter wide go- kart track , which can be used with both rental and private karts . The kart track can be connected to the racetrack. The grandstand of the go-kart facility is designed for 1,000 spectators.

use

The members of the motorsport federations of the Balearic Islands use the race track for training and test drives as well as smaller motorsport competitions related to the island. International or Spanish championships are not held on the Mallorca racing arena. The All-Sports Racing School is located in an adjoining building and offers practical and theoretical driving lessons. Professional instructors teach at the Circuit Mallorca racing driver school, which also operates Formula Junior vehicles for training purposes.

future

The Balearic Motorsport Federation announced in 2010 that plans to build a 4.6-kilometer international circuit with 15 bends had been in place for many years. The new circuit is to be built on the site of the existing facility. The new Grand Prix track will initially be used to host the German Touring Car Championship, but will also meet the requirements for Formula 1 races. It is also planned that a technology center will be built next to the route. Experts from Ferrari and the international motorsport association FIA and Bernie Ecclestone will also be involved as consultants in the planning of the new race track . The route project should cover an area of around 500,000 square meters and offer space for around 90,000 spectators. According to press reports, the cost of the project is estimated at around 200 million euros. The entire costs are to be met by private investors.

At the end of 2012 it was announced that the new complex would be built on the other side, opposite the existing racing arena on the motorway between Palma and Llucmajor. In May 2012 it became known that the island council continued to refuse approval and that the investors had withdrawn.

In 2013, the topic of Formula 1 racetracks on Mallorca came up again internationally. The Hells Angels wanted to build the Formula 1 racetrack on Mallorca and finance it with black money. In June 2013, however, this issue was shattered by a major raid by the Spanish police.
