Civet (German: Zibetkatze ) is a punk rock band from Long Beach , California .

history

The band was formed in 1999. Although it has been in business for almost ten years, it wasn't until the change to punk rock primus Hellcat Records in 2008 that the longed-for breakthrough came. With their album Hell Hath No Fury , the four women gained international attention and have since been on tour in Germany.

You have toured with Social Distortion , The Mighty Mighty Bosstones , Dropkick Murphys and The Pogues , among others .

style

You yourself describe your style as "femme fatale punk rock". Critics compare him to The Distillers , Bikini Kill , The Runaways and " Motörhead on rock'n'roll cocaine". Civet themselves have stressed on many occasions that they were most influenced by The Runaways.
