Cizre dam​

The Cizre Dam is a Turkish construction project on the Tigris north of the city of Cizre . The planning of the dam is happening at the same time as the planned construction of the upstream Ilısu Dam .

After a first unsuccessful tender for the construction of the Cizre dam in May 2008, the company Zorlu Holding was awarded the contract in a second tender in May 2014 ^{[out of date]} . The consequences for cultural goods are criticized.
