Clémence Grimal (born March 4, 1994 in Figeac ) is a French snowboarder . She starts in the halfpipe discipline.

Career

Grimal drove her first FIS World Cup race in Valmalenco in March 2009 , which she finished in ninth place. In December 2010 she won the Iceripper Junior Open in Laax . At the O´Neill Evolution 2013 in Davos , she took second place. In December 2013 she achieved her first podium finish in the FIS World Cup with third place in Ruka . In her first Olympic participation in Sochi in 2014 , she came in 14th place. In January 2015 she won the bronze medal at the 2015 Snowboard World Championships on Kreischberg . In the 2015/16 season she finished sixth at the Laax Open in Laax and took third place at the World Cup in Sapporo . She won the bronze medal at the 2017 Snowboard World Championships in Sierra Nevada .
