Claes Gill
Claes Gill (born October 13, 1910 in Odda , † June 11, 1973 ) was a Norwegian writer, journalist, poet and actor.
Life
He was born in Odda but grew up in Bergen . He spent his adult life in Oslo . In 1939 he made his debut with Fragment av et magisk liv , followed in 1942 by Ord i jærn . He later worked as an actor and director. He was head of the Rogaland Teater in Stavanger (1952 to 1956) and also starred in a number of films.
He was also committed to the Riksmål language .
