The trust is keen to actively support young people who have previously been disadvantaged in school, social and economic terms. They get the opportunity to take part in projects, this should promote their skills and potential. Long-term unemployed and former soldiers should be given the opportunity to return to normal everyday life.

history

In 1995 the decision was made to rebuild an original medieval village to illustrate the life and culture of Scotland at that time. The trust was founded and the proceeds and donations that are received through the various activities (see above) flow into this project. So far, over 2,800,000 euros have been made available for the construction of Duncarron . A big supporter is film actor Russell Crowe , with whom chairman Charlie Allan is close friends.
