Charlie Allan
Charlie "Chick" Allan (born February 27, 1963 ) is a Scottish film actor and musician .
Life
He is the chairman of the Clanranald Trust for Scotland , a recognized not-for-profit organization in Scotland whose primary aim is to preserve and promote Scottish culture and heritage through entertainment and education. This includes the recreation of a medieval Scottish village called Duncarron . He is also the band leader of the Scottish band Saor Patrol . He is head of Combat International and the Scottish Federation of Medieval Martial Arts (SFMMA). Saor Patrol, Combat International and the SFMMA are part of the Clanranald Trust for Scotland. He played minor roles in films such as Gladiator and Robin Hood . He's been friends with Russell Crowe since Gladiator , who supports him in his Duncarron project.
