reception

Reviews

Overall, the film received mixed feedback from the critics.

Robin Mahler from the news portal Nau explains that Outlaw King has been filmed in a visibly elaborate manner and that thanks to broadly captured landscape shots, good advertising is being carried out for a vacation in the Scottish high mountains. However, the interesting history of the warring parties is slowed down by poor character drawings and banal dialogues, according to Mahler.
