Tony Curran (born December 13, 1969 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish actor .

Curran grew up in his native Scotland and received classical theater training at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama .

He then made a name for himself as a stage actor in the UK before entering the film business in the early 1990s . Curran has since played supporting roles in several television series and several blockbusters such as The 13th Warrior (1999), Gladiator (2000), Pearl Harbor (2001) or Blade II (2002). It wasn't until 2003 that he was cast in a leading role in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen , but was hardly ever seen in the entire film: he played Rodney Skinner, the invisible.

In early 2006, Curran played - visibly - one of the central characters in a Hollywood film, the vampire prince Marcus in the action film Underworld: Evolution .
