Steve Golin

Steve Golin (born March 6, 1955 in Geneva , New York , † April 21, 2019 in Los Angeles ) was an American film producer .

Life

In 1986, Golin and Sigurjón Sighvatsson founded the production company Propaganda Films , of which he became CEO. Numerous young directors such as David Fincher , Michael Bay , Spike Jonze , Antoine Fuqua , Gore Verbinski , Alex Proyas and Michel Gondry shot their first commercials and music videos there before switching to feature film production.

In 2000, Golin was the founder and CEO of Anonymous Content , a US film production company that produces commercials, films, and music videos. In the early days, Golin led his company to one of the best in the advertising industry, producing commercials, campaigns and more. a. for Nike, Intel, Citibank, United Airlines, Ford, Audi, Coca-Cola and Pepsi.

Golin died in April 2019 at the age of 64 from complications from longstanding cancer.
