Aaron Perry Taylor-Johnson (* 13. June 1990 in Holmer Green , Buckinghamshire , England as Aaron Perry Johnson ) is a British actor .

Life

2001 Taylor-Johnson played alongside Sean Bean in Tom & Thomas the double role of the twin brothers, 2003 in Shanghai Knights the role of Charlie Chaplin alongside Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson . A year earlier he had a role in The Bible - Apocalypse . In 2006 he took on the role of young Eisenheim in The Illusionist .

He was the role in 2005 Prosper in The Thief Lord ( Thief Lord known). From November 8th to December 13th 2007 he was in England in the teen series Nearly Famous as Owen Stephens , who is a talented musician. In late August 2008 he starred as Robbie in the teen comedy Frontalknutschen . Taylor-Johnson played the young John Lennon in Nowhere Boy , a 2009 biopic . In 2010 he played the role of Kick-Ass in the film of the same name and in 2013 in its sequel Kick-Ass 2 .

In 2014 and 2015 he played the role of Pietro Maximoff / Quicksilver in the Marvel films The Return of the First Avenger and Avengers: Age of Ultron . In 2016 he was seen in the film Nocturnal Animals . For his performance, he was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Taylor-Johnson made headlines with his private life in Great Britain, especially in October 2009, when the then 19-year-old announced at the premiere of the John Lennon film that he was with the 42-year-old director of the film, Sam Taylor- Wood , be engaged. The two were already planning the wedding. In early 2010, the two told Daily Mail that they were expecting a child. On July 7, 2010, the couple's first daughter was born. Taylor-Wood already has two daughters from a previous marriage. In 2011, Aaron Taylor-Johnson starred in the REM video ÜBerlin , directed by Sam Taylor-Wood. Their second daughter was born on January 18, 2012. The two married on June 20, 2012 and now perform under the double name Taylor-Johnson.

In 2017 he was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), which awards the Oscars every year.
