The building is located in Gernröder's old town at the confluence of Wolfgangstrasse with Clara-Zetkin-Strasse and is listed as a residential building in the local register of monuments.
Architecture and history
The three-storey building was built around 1850 in the style of late classicism . A side risalit with its gable facing the street is lavishly designed . There are three flat segmental arched windows on the ground floor . The facade of the first floor is structured by pilasters and has a frieze. On the second floor, the three windows are provided with round arches. The remaining part of the house faces the street with its eaves and originally also had an elaborately designed facade, which was changed during a renovation.
