Claude Dellacherie

Claude Dellacherie (* 1943 in Lauwin-Planque ) is a French mathematician who deals with probability theory. He is the research director of the CNRS , was a professor at the University of Strasbourg and is a professor at the University of Rouen .

Dellacherie received his doctorate in 1970 under Paul-André Meyer at the University of Strasbourg (Contribution a la theorie generale des processus stochastiques).

In 1971/72 and 1978/79 he was at the Institute for Advanced Study . From 1985 to 1996 he was director of the Laboratoire Analyze et Modèles Stochastiques (URA 1378) of the CNRS in Rouen.
