Claude Georges
Claude Georges (born April 29, 1929 in Fumay ( Ardennes ), France , † December 26, 1988 in Paris ) was a French painter and graphic artist . He is one of the most important representatives of abstract painting after the Second World War .
Life
From the 1950s and 1960s in particular, his art received international attention and recognition. For example, Claude Georges took part in documenta II in Kassel in 1959 in the painting department with some works . He also exhibited at the first Paris Biennale in the same year and also at the 2nd and 3rd Biennale in Paris in 1961 and 1963.
